Harbrow Mentoring provides targeted business support through Biri Bana Connect, a project enabled by the Queensland Government’s Regional Enablers Initiative. Biri Bana Connect is specifically designed to deliver, support, promote, and strengthen First Nations–owned innovative businesses across Far North Queensland, including Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands, through a needs-based approach
The program delivers a suite of support activities including workshops, event delegations, networking opportunities, and tailored facilitation services. Its intent is to attract and connect First Nations innovators and entrepreneurs from across FNQ into key events and broader business ecosystems, while actively spotlighting and celebrating the impactful work being delivered by First Nations businesses throughout the region. The annual Indigenous Business & the Arts Expo Cairns is one of the many opportunities.
How to get Involved:
We are looking for Indigenous micro and small businesses across regional FNQ, as well as services that support these businesses, to join Biri Bana Connect.
