BIRI BANA CONNECT
Biri Bana Connect is a Regional Enablers Program, funded for 3 years by Advance Queensland and delivered by Harbrow Mentoring in collaboration with Launch YEP, supporting First Nations businesses in North Queensland to grow through innovation.
Operating across Far North Queensland, from Cardwell to the Torres Strait, including Cairns, the Tablelands, and Cape York, Biri Bana Connect links First Nations entrepreneurs with opportunities, resources, and support.
The program offers key activities such as Indigenous Round Table events, networking for businesses and supporters, promotion of innovators, access to funding, training, and advice, as well as travel assistance for innovation events.
The annual Indigenous Business and Arts Expo showcases talent, while Biri Bana Connect fosters collaboration to strengthen the FNQ innovation ecosystem and create more opportunities for First Nations entrepreneurs.
How to get Involved:
We are looking for Indigenous micro and small businesses across regional FNQ, as well as services that support these businesses, to join Biri Bana Connect.
